How our Powder works
Made for everyday bone degreasing. Works with simmering and oxidation.
No strong or harmful smell

Speeds up the degreasing process
How to Use:
Wearing gloves and other PPE, Add approximately 3.5 grams of the product to every liter of water and mix vigorously.
Add bones to the solution.
Heat consistently to the correct temperature for the species (see below).
Change the water when it looks dirty or oily.
Simmering: Replace bicarbonate with powder at same ratio as above.
Oxidation: Use instead of ammonia at same mix ratio as above. Do not mix with peroxide.
The product comes as a dry powder. When mixed with water, it has a light, soapy smell. Keep product sealed when not in use. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

Recommended Temperatures:
Mammals: 44–48°C/111-118°F (use lower heat for young or fragile bones)
Birds, fish, delicate or young bones: Keep at or below 30°C/86°F

Conversion amounts
12 grams for every gallon (approximately 2 teaspoons)
19 grams is approximately 1 tablespoon
Approximately 2-4 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket
If a white solute accumulates at the bottom of your bucket, use less powder. Accuracy when measuring powder is not critical unless exceeding prescribed dosage.

How to Use:
Wearing gloves and other PPE, add 10-15ml (1/2 fl oz) of product to affected area.
Layer paper towel on the area and soak the paper towel, wicking degreaser into the bone. Product can be painted on as well.
Let sit twelve hours.
Place bone in Bare Bones Solutions degreaser or consistently warmed water to pull grease and spot degreaser out of the bone.
The product comes as a liquid with a strong citrus smell. Keep product sealed when not in use. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

In solution the powder degreaser has a mild soapy odor, unless it has a large grease load.
The spot degreaser smells like lemons. -
Progress in this project has been managed in phases. The release schedule will be no different and dependent on local and national growth, as well as other factors. It has been discussed, but the immediate focus has been Canadian release. We appreciate your patience as we work towards serving other countries.
